Lumsden McCormick is pleased to announce that managing partner Sara Dayton, CPA, has been honored as part of the Marquis 2026 Who’s Who list. This recognition is awarded to the country’s most accomplished professionals across a variety of fields, including business, law, education, public service, and the arts.
Sara has been with Lumsden McCormick for more than 25 years. Named managing partner in 2023, today she leads the firm’s strategic direction, operational performance, and long-term growth initiatives. Before her election as managing partner, Sara served as the leader of the Firm’s audit & assurance department and worked primarily with school districts and local governments.
Sara has previously been recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Top 200 CPAs and as one of of the Best-in-State Top CPAs.
She currently serves as the Vice-Chairperson of the Erie County SPCA and as the Treasurer for the Buffalo-Erie Marathon Association. This year, she has also been honored as a Power 250 honoree and a Power 200 Woman by Buffalo Business First.
