Administrative Assistant
Description
Lumsden McCormick, one of the most respected accounting firms in Western New York and recognized as a Great Place to Work, is seeking a talented administrative professional to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will provide a full range of support services to partners and professional staff.
Responsibilities
- Composing a variety of correspondence and documents as well as processing of financial statements, tax returns, and other reports
- Heavy word processing using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Providing administrative support to professionals including but not limited to: proofreading, scanning, copying/faxing, reception coverage, and ordering supplies
- Complete special projects as needed
Experience
- Strong organizational skills with particular attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with partners and staff
- Able to assume responsibility to meet deadlines
- Strong computer skills, with an emphasis in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple workload priorities; work well with tight deadlines; and maintain a high aptitude for detailed work
- Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays during peak periods
