Administrative Assistant – Brisbane
Description
Brisbane Consulting Group, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lumsden & McCormick LLP, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our business consulting, business valuation, forensic accounting, and litigation support practice. The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in helping the Brisbane team manage client engagements, coordinate case-related activities, and deliver exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Brisbane team.
- Assist with client intake and engagement setup, including conflict checks, engagement documents, retainers, and client onboarding.
- Maintain electronic client and case files, including correspondence, engagement documents, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor litigation matters, court dates, prospect cases, and active engagements; follow up on outstanding items.
- Prepare, format, proofread, and distribute reports, engagement letters, correspondence, presentations, and other client deliverables.
- Support billing and accounts receivable activities, including processing payments, billing summaries, payment reminders, and collection correspondence.
- Maintain accurate client, engagement, and case information in the firm’s CRM, practice management, and other department systems.
- Prepare trial and meeting materials and coordinate related logistics, including virtual meetings, printing, and binding.
- Communicate professionally with clients, prospects, attorneys, courts, and internal team members.
- Assist with special projects and other administrative needs as assigned.
Experience
- Three or more years of administrative experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication, proofreading, and document preparation skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and follow tasks through to completion.
- Professional, adaptable, and team-oriented with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
