Kerry Roets, CPA, MT, Principal, Appointed to Stitch Buffalo Board of Directors and Finance Committee

Lumsden & McCormick, LLP is pleased to announce that Kerry Roets, CPA, MT, Principal, has been appointed to the Stitch Buffalo Board of Directors and Finance Committee.

With more than a decade of experience in the field, Kerry is highly knowledgeable in various areas of taxation, including pass-through entity taxation, real estate, individual taxation, and historic tax credits. She is dedicated to delivering relationship-driven client service, ensuring that each client receives personalized attention and solutions tailored to their unique needs.

Kerry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting from John Carroll University and a Master of Taxation from The University of Denver.

Stitch Buffalo is a textile art center that hosts programs geared toward community building, empowerment, and environmental stewardship. Among these programs is the Refugee Women’s Workship, where women from Bhutan, Burma, Nepal, Thailand, Egypt, Afghanistan, and beyond can sew handcrafted goods and sell them in the community. Stitch Buffalo also runs Second Stitch, a sustainability program that keeps textile art supplies out of landfills. These programs and the numerous community classes run by Stitch Buffalo allow a vibrant community of female artists to come together and celebrate their cultural traditions and their individual creativity.
