Treasury, IRS Release Proposed Regulations on Qualified Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit

On September 18, the IRS and the Treasury Department released proposed regulations regarding the credit for qualified alternative fuel vehicle refueling property under IRC Section 30C. Originally introduced in 2005, this provision was most recently updated by the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. The changes apply to qualified refueling property placed in service between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2032.
