Sara was named Managing Partner in January 2023; she carries out the policies and objectives adopted by the Firm's executive committee.  She oversees the management and profitability of the Firm and is responsible for implementing and monitoring actions to achieve the Firm's strategic and future vision. Sara also monitors developments in the accounting profession and business environment to determine relevance to the Firm and its market leadership position.

Prior to being named Managing Partner, Sara served as the leader of the Audit & Assurance department, responsible for oversight of our auditing practice and supervision of approximately 50 professionals. She has extensive experience serving our Governmental Services Niche in the areas of external and internal auditing, single audits, agreed-upon procedures, taxation, information returns, and financial reporting.  She also performs quality reviews of governmental reports on engagements on which she does not have engagement responsibility. Sara’s expertise includes leases, pension and other postemployment benefit reporting requirements, internal audits, single audits, and providing guidance to our clients on important compliance areas. She currently manages client expectations for many of our governmental clients, including public authorities, municipalities, school districts, and fire districts, and maintains continuing professional education requirements of Government Auditing Standards.

Sara is an avid animal lover and enjoys spending time at the SPCA and with her beloved dog, Darby. She is also a frequent volunteer at South Line Fire Company. When Sara is not busy helping others, human and animal alike, she enjoys traveling all over the world.
