Sarah Hopkins Named President of NYSSCPA Buffalo Chapter

 

 

We are excited to share that Sarah M. Hopkins, CPA has been named President of the NYSSCPA - Buffalo Chapter!

Sarah has been a member of the NYSSCPA since joining Lumsden McCormick in 2005. In addition to currently serving as the Buffalo Chapter President she also serves as Chair of the NYSSCPA Buffalo Chapter Not-for-Profit Committee, which she has done since 2010.  Other roles she has assumed for the NYSSCPA Buffalo Chapter include Secretary and President Elect.  Hopkins has almost twenty years of audit and assurance experience, with a primary focus on accounting, auditing, and tax matters related to nonprofit organizations.  She is also a board member of the New York Council of Nonprofits, Inc. (NYCON), and member of the National Association of College and University Business Officers and New York State Education Department Charter School Audit Guide Committee.
