Michelle Waddell Appointed as Buffalo’s Mohawk Place Treasurer
Michelle Waddell, Senior Accounting Services Specialist at Lumsden McCormick CPA, has been elected as Treasurer to the Mohawk Place Board of Directors.
Michelle’s experience as an accounting services specialist make her an ideal fit for the role; she is responsible for providing bookkeeping services, transactional processing, and preparing financial statements and budget preparations for a variety of commercial businesses. She also has prior experience working as a fiscal director and as a controller.
Michelle holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Canisius University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Bonaventure University. She is the former Treasurer of both Addiction Recovery Services and Montessori Children’s House of Olean.
Michelle will be the very first elected Treasurer on the Mohawk Place Board of Directors. The club was sold earlier this year in order to be turned into a nonprofit entity that functions as an arts and music center in the community. Mohawk Place has been a cherished part of Buffalo’s live music community since its original opening in 1990.
