Lumsden McCormick Managing Partner Named to Women of Influence 2023, Community Supporter

Lumsden McCormick is pleased to announce that Sara M. Dayton, CPA, Managing Partner, was named to the Buffalo Business First Women of Influence, Community Supporter for 2023.

Dayton’s volunteerism and commitment to the organizations she serves are self-evident, but what is most notable is her leadership, Sara leads with action and embodies the definition of a volunteer. Her love and respect for all people and animals is at the core of her commitment to the SPCA Serving Erie County, Buffalo-Erie Marathon Association, and Cradle Beach Camp. Her actions show this commitment and evoke the mission of each organization.

The 17th annual Women of Influence awards recognize the business acumen and community spirit of these women, said Business First Publisher John Tebeau, adding that the number of nominees totaled 175 for this year's program. Buffalo Business First Women of Influence 2023 will honor the Women of Influence at a luncheon to be held on September 14, 2023, at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens.

As managing partner of Lumsden McCormick, Dayton carries out the policies and objectives adopted by the Firm's executive committee. She oversees the management and profitability of the Firm and is responsible for implementing and monitoring actions to achieve the Firm's strategic and future vision. She also monitors developments in the accounting profession and business environment to determine relevance to the Firm and its market leadership position.
