Welcome New Staff and Interns

Gino Paul, Audit Intern

Gino graduated from Niagara University in May 2017 with his BS in Accounting.  He is planning to continue his studies at NU to earn his MBA by May 2018.  Gino was a peer tutor at Niagara Univeristy and has worked at Wegman’s for seven years.  He has served as Philanthropy Chairman, Vice President, and Event Planner with Tau Kappa Epsilon, a fraternity with a philanthropic focus.  Gino received several academic excellence scholarships including the Niagara University Trustees Scholarship, Oscar Steinwachs Scholarship, and Wegman’s Scholarship.  

Derek Horschel, Audit Staff Accountant

Derek graduated from SUNY Geneseo in May 2015 with a BS degree in Accounting.  He has experience as a staff accountant with Toshiba Business Solutions and interned with EFP Rotenberg, Horschel Brothers Precision, and Cessna Aircraft.  

Kyle Januszkiewicz, Audit Staff Accountant

Kyle graduated in May 2017 with a MS in Accounting from the University at Buffalo with an Internal Audit & Risk Management specialization.  While in school, Kyle was a VITA tax preparer and member of the UB Accounting Association.  He has worked with Rudolph Galley and Sons since 2013 and served as assistant coach of Maryvale’s Varsity Hockey team.  

Kristen Herle, Audit Staff Accountant

Kristen joins Lumsden McCormick full-time after her audit internship last year.  She graduated in May 2017 with her MS in Business Administration and Accounting from Canisius College.  During her studies she worked for the Canisius College Alumni Fund as a student manager, held a tax internship with BS&P and interned in the accounting department at Niagara Lutheran Health System.  Since graduation, Kristen passed all four parts of the CPA exam.

Matthew J. Cronmiller, Audit Staff Accountant

Matthew joins us full time after he completed an internship with Lumsden McCormick last year. He graduated in May 2017 with his BS/MS in Accounting from the University at Buffalo.  During his studies, Matthew participated in club hockey, was a student member of the NYSSCPA, and received various recognitions and honors including the NYSSCPA Senior Student Award in April 2016. 

Sarah Dollendorf, Audit Intern

Sarah is an Accounting, Accounting Information Systems and Finance major at Canisius College. She anticipates receiving her BS in May 2018.  Sarah stays busy on campus as a member of Canisius’ Finance Committee, Research Assistant with CEEP, Events Committee Chair of the Honors Student Association, Director of Honors Orientation and Secretary of the Accounting Society.  Sarah has held various internships, most recently with Columbus McKinnon and Roy’s Plumbing, Heating and Cooling.  Sarah co-founded Griffins Giving Back, the Canisius branch of the Lion’s Club.
