MAD Committee Sells Buffalo News Kids Day Papers

Lumsden McCormick's Making A Difference Committee sold papers at various intersections around the Cyclorama Building for Kids Day, sponsored by The Buffalo News. The proceeds from the sale of this special edition are presented to Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, Cradle Beach, and various children’s charities around Western New York.

Thank you to MAD Committee volunteers Kathy, Christine, Mark, Megan, Angela, Kelly, Kate, Maria, Will, Zach, and Lindsay for bringing in over $400 in the rain this year!

2017 celebrates Kids Day's 35th year of raising money. Since 1983, Kids Day contributions have totaled more than $4.6 million – helping children all across Western New York. Thousands of partners join The Buffalo News in this huge county-wide initiative, including hundreds of corner captains, thousands of volunteers and, of course, the more than 100,000 donors that help to make this special fundraising campaign such a success.
