As a member of the audit department, Amina supervises the conduct of the audit fieldwork. She has expertise working with exempt organizations including educational institutions, private and public foundations, and other nonprofit organizations, as well as employee benefit plans, workers’ compensation trusts and commercial businesses in the areas of auditing, single audit, financial reporting, and taxation of exempt organizations. Her prior work experience includes acting as an accounting and financial assistant for a local nonprofit and as an auditor for the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance.
