Welcome New Staff and Tax Interns

Emilie Wuerch, Staff Accountant
Emilie graduated in May 2016 earning an MBA in Accounting from Canisius College. She earned a BS in Accounting from Canisius in May 2015. During her studies, she held an accounting internship at a manufacturing business and worked as a cashier at Valu Home Centers.
Kristen Robillard, Staff Accountant
Kristen is a December 2016 BBA/MBA Accounting graduate from Niagara University. During her studies she held a tax accounting internship with a manufacturing company and worked as an accounts payable and payroll clerk for a distribution company. Kristen worked full-time as a Staff Accountant with a small local accounting firm prior to coming to Lumsden McCormick. Kristen is a QuickBooks Online Advanced ProAdvisor.
Amanda Popovich, Tax Intern
Amanda attends Daemen College and is working towards her BS/MS in Professional Accountancy, set to graduate in December 2017. During her studies, she supports students in the learning center as an accounting academic coach, provides office support in the academic affairs office, and works as a crew trainer at a restaurant chain. She has also held two previous tax internships.
Allyson Thomas, Tax Intern
Allyson attends Niagara University and is pursuing a BBA in Accounting, expecting to graduate in December 2017. She is actively involved on campus supporting accounting and finance students as a peer tutor and volunteering her time in the community. Allyson has worked as a cashier during her studies.
Hayden Coll, Tax Intern
Hayden is working towards a BBA and MBA in Accounting, set to graduate in May 2017. Hayden comes to us with experience as a franchise development and accounting intern with two chain restaurants in New York State. Hayden is also active on campus with NCAA Division I Baseball and participates in various community activities.
Alex Darrow, Tax Intern
Alex is returning for his second internship with our tax department. He attends Daemen College and is pursuing a BS/MS in Professional Accountancy, expecting to graduate in December of 2017. During his studies, Alex works two customer service jobs. He is also active on campus with intramural sports and various community activities.
Kelsey Braham, Tax Intern
Kelsey attends Niagara University and expects to graduate with her BBA in Accounting in May 2017 and MBA in Accounting in May 2018. She comes to us with experience as as both a tax intern and audit intern with two accounting firms. In addition to her studies, Kelsey worked at two customer service positions, volunteered as a tax preparer in the VITA program, and is a member of Beta Alpha Psi.
Kyle Nichols, Tax Intern
Kyle attends the University at Buffalo and is working towards his BS in Accounting, expecting to graduate in May 2017. He previously worked as an accounting analyst intern with a local bank and a New York State government agency. He is active on campus with the UB Accounting Association and Toastmasters International.
