COVID-19 Update - Client Portal and Lockbox Document Drop-Off
Effective 3/21/2020 and until further notice, Lumsden McCormick is suspending all in-office face-to-face interactions in light of COVID-19 concerns.
As defined by New York, accounting is an essential business, therefore Lumsden McCormick will continue operations as a remote workforce. Because of our investment in technology, we maintain security protocols to protect and enable access to our data and systems allowing us to continue to work at consistent levels ensuring uninterrupted services.
We are continuing to provide excellent and timely services and are moving forward to complete all tax filings by April 15, 2020, despite the filing extensions recently issued by the IRS and New York State. We highly encourage you to continue to forward us all the necessary documentation through our secure client portal. A secondary option is via email through ShareFile, a Citrix product.
We also have a secure lockbox in our vestibule where you can drop off documents Monday – Saturday from 9 am – 3 pm. We have envelopes, sticky notes, and pens available (hand sanitizer, too!) for your convenience. An employee will be on hand to collect the information hourly and distribute accordingly. If you are uncomfortable entering our vestibule, please call 716-856-3300 and we can meet you at your vehicle. Remember, using our secure client portal is the best option.
